In March, 2025, David won the JCFS Reponse For Teens Extraordinary Teen Award. He wrote an amazing acceptance speech detailing his hard and life changing journey through his childhood.

After David's junior year started off on the correct foot this year, David along with a classmate started a brand new podcast focusing on mental health. The Call-Out Podcast (Podcast name), targets high school students who might be struggling with any types of mental health stigma.
